At Coco Loco, staying overnight means simple comfort in a natural setting. Our
accommodations are designed to feel airy, honest, and connected to the surroundings - built by local hands, cooled by ocean breezes, breezes, aand framed by palm trees, waves, and star
filled nights. There is no noise, no crowds, and no party atmosphere. Coco Loco is about the quieter side of adventure, where rest, nature, and rhythm matter more than distractions. A conscious way of living at Coco Loco includes how food is sourced and prepared. Our meals are healthy, locally sourced, and made from scratch, using ingredients from nearby and from the property whenever possible.

Eco Cabanas

On our main property, we have eight palm-thatch eco cabanas designed with comfort and natural cooling in mind. Built using local pine and eucalyptus wood, with roofs made from local palm thatch, the cabanas reflect our commitment to natural materials and climate- conscious design. Each cabana includes a private open-air bathroom and shower. There is no hot water, as the climate remains warm year-round-helping us reduce energy use. Natural ventilation and fan cooling provide airflow without air conditioning, allowing for less energy consumption and more ocean breeze.

Beachfront House

Our Beach House is located just outside the main gate, directly on the beach and only a one-minute walk from the restaurant and pool area.
Set on a spacious beachfront property, the house offers generous oceanfront space designed for relaxing and enjoying the view. The large entrance area leads to an ocean- facing terrace with loungers, hammocks, seating areas, and a coffee table-a shared space ideal for slowing down, reading, or watching the light change over the water. Each room features air conditioning and a private full ensuite bathroom, offering additional comfort while staying directly by the ocean.

Host a Retreat

Coco Loco Eco Resort offers a remote beachfront location for hosting yoga retreats, surf retreats, and nature-based retreats in Nicaragua. Our setting is designed for small groups seeking simplicity, focus, and a strong connection to nature and community. We provide eco- friendly accommodations, flexible communal spaces, and locally sourced, freshly prepared meals, creating a supportive environment for retreat hosts and participants. Retreat programs can be shaped around surf sessions, yoga and movement practices, outdoor activities, and time for rest and reflection. Retreats at Coco Loco are best suited for groups of approximately 10 to 25 participants, depending on the season and availability. Group size and setup may vary throughout the year, and we work closely with retreat hosts to find the most suitable arrangement based on timing, group needs, and retreat focus. Our eco resort is ideal for hosts planning yoga retreats, surf retreats, or wellness retreats that value a low-impact approach, meaningful experiences, and a close relationship with the surrounding environment.
